Bailey is a food blogger who is passionate about easy and affordable meals that are also healthy. Her mission is to help busy professionals and families get more plants into their diet and enjoy their favorite comfort foods, but in a healthier way. She started her blog, Sailor Bailey, to share her easy and customizable meals to her friends and family, but now she wants to help people who want to get more comfortable in the kitchen. You don’t need to be on a specific diet to enjoy her recipes because they are all curated to be easy, customizable and full of nutrition. Bailey’s goal is to help her audience get confidence in themselves and in the kitchen with their cooking.

Listen in as Bailey shares how she is using her easy-going and peaceful routine to really slow down and keep herself motivated to live her best life.

In this week’s talk show, we are talking about the importance of keeping a daily routine, being easier on yourself, and really slowing down in order to keep your motivation high while living your best life.

Many people get discouraged to lead a healthy lifestyle because they have difficulties in the kitchen or finding simple recipes. Bailey’s blog offers approachable and affordable wellness because to her, taking care of yourself is key. She likes to keep things very simple and easy in order to cook healthy and wholesome foods that contribute to leading a healthy lifestyle.

This pandemic has thrown everyone off track. Bailey has a lot of good advice on getting back into the groove now that quarantine is coming to an end!

Staying positive and finding a daily routine are important, she says. You can start small by just going to bed at the same time every night. Routine and motivation go hand in hand: if you have a good routine, you would feel more motivated to improve that routine.

Affirmation is a major part in finding positivity, too. Affirmation reading helps motivate her when she is stuck in a depression or a comparison trap. When this happens, she takes a pause from social media and starts checking into herself and focusing on her inner self, then things naturally fall back into place for her. Only then, will she find the motivation to live her best life.

No matter what you're trying to achieve, shut down all the negativity traps and find things that fill you with motivation. In Bailey’s case, she has a book titled Forgiving and Moving On that was given to her by her mom. It consists of knowledge and powerful affirmations that always help her through her struggles. For some people, a walk might help clear their mind. You just have to find the little things that spark you, she says.

When you bring more positive things and make more space within yourself, you would be able to find more motivation to take better care of yourself.

Because of the drastic changes caused by the pandemic, she is easing herself into her daily routines now: she takes her time waking up, sipping her coffee, and participating in activities that help clear her head and make her feel better. She has grown to enjoy the new routines of taking things easier and slower.

In this busy world, time is so important to everyone. You might be giving yourself a hard time for relaxing, but don’t, give yourself a break.

Please remember, dear readers, you are going to lose motivation if you don’t allow yourself to rest.
